I require information in getting to Sienna & San Gimignano+ other areas in one day in the tuscany region if at all possible ( from Florence City and returning the same day back to Florence City.?
We will be travelling on either dates from the 18-21 May 2014.
are there regular trains and or buses to these destinations.?
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance or on the day of travel. ( I only speak English) Can tickets be purchased through your website?
I wish to leave early morning and be away for possibly 6-7 hours for a return trip

      Hi Kitty1,
I suggest you to check this other thread: https://www.sitabus.it/forums/topic/florence-to-san-gim-to-siena-to-florence/

You can buy tickets at bars, tobacconists and newsagents during you travel.

For nature of transport, buses could be no regular.

      Have a nice trip

We plan to visit Poggio a Caiano from Florence on day. On the another day we plan to visit San Giminiano. Could you please consult us how to gt there and return back to Florence. We afraid that we can late to the last bus or train.
      Thanks in advance.

      Hi Giuliana.

For Poggio a Caiano you have two possibility:
      1) line CAPautolinee: Firenze – Signa.

      2) BluBus: Linea 51

      51-Firenze-PoggioACaiano-Pistoia

Tickets and bus stop in Firenze L.go F.lli Alinari, 9.
In weekdays and holidays of both companies, timetables are different, but anyhow I recommend you to come back in the afternoon because in the evening there are no buses.

For San Gimignano I suggest you to check this other thread:

Florence to San Gim to Siena to Florence

For San Gimignano you have to change line in Poggibonsi or Siena.
As mentioned above, it is always preferable to move in the morning or afternoon because in the evening there are no buses.

      Have a nice trip.
