How to get to Volterra from either Pisa or Florence airport?

Hi,
I’m planning on going to Volterra in August and I can’t really figure out how to travel from Pisa or Florence airport to Volterra. I would like to go on a Sunday, because I have a wedding to attend back home the day before and a course in Volterra to attend the day after. If I don’t want the plane ticket to cost a fortune I will arrive in the evening. Is it even possible to get to Volterra by bus on a Sunday evening?

Unfortunately there is not a good connection for them: there isn’t a direct line from airports to Volterra and you should do 2-3 changes. Having regard to the time, I suggest you to get some kind of private transport/transfer or Taxi.
And I recommend you to check the quote before you take the service to avoid bad surprises.
