Porto San Giorgio (Ancona) to Minori

Hello,

I am travelling from Porto San Giorgio (Ancona) to Minori (Amalfi) in June and I was hoping to get some advice about travelling between these locations. I have been to Maiori before, so I have caught the bus from Salerno a few times, but I was wondering if there were any other ways to get there.

I have looked up the trains and it seems the best way to do it is 7 hours:

Porto S. Giorgio –> Foggia –> Benevento –> Salerno.

Do you think this is the best way to do it or do you have any other suggestions (perhaps bus?) if you are familiar with the route?

In my opinion it’s better to take less bus/trains as possible.

“Linea 2 mari” has a line from Marche to Campania (Caserta, Napoli, Pompei, Salerno). Porto San Giorgio – Salerno takes about 6 hours. It costs 32 euro.

“Sena” has a line Porto San Giorio – Salerno. It takes about 7 hours and costs 32 euro.

From Salerno to Minori you can take a Sita bus:
