  We arrive in Florence on July 19 by train from Rome. Can we buy tickets for the next day, July 20 to travel from Florence to Siena at the train station? Or, where is the best place to purchase our SITA tickets? What is the round trip cost for this one day trip to Siena?

  Hi! It’s actually better to buy tickets in advance since the price on board is normally more;
  tickets can be bought by tobacconists and kiosks.
  The single ticket Firenze – Siena costs € 7,80 if bought in advance,
  buying the ticket on board the costs is of € 10.00.
