Hello!
I’m going to visit Florence for one week from 3rd July to 10th July before I visit Rome.
Now I have some qustions regarding some trips we want to make:
1. Is there a bus from the Airport to the train station Santa Maria Novella?
2. Is there a bus from Florence to San Gimignano for the 8th. July wich does not take around 5 hours?
3. is there a bus from Florence to Monteriggioni(the city) for the 7th JUly wich does not take around 5 hours?
Of course we need times for the whole days so we can plan our visits better…greetingsfrom germany

Here the line Florence Airport to central station:
For the line Firenze – San Gimignano check both the links below:
http://www.busfox.com/timetable/
Monteriggioni can be reached either by train or bus.
By train the closer stations are: “Castellina in Chianti – Monteriggioni”, around 3 km circa from Monteriggioni castle and the train station of Badesse.
By bus take the line from Florence to Poggibonsi or Colle val D’elsa and then change with a bus to Monteriggioni. Colle val d’Elsa – Monteriggioni is roughly 25 min by bus.
Info and timetable here: https://www.sitabus.it/?attachment_id=655
To get to Fiesole from Florence using public transportation take bus No. 7 from Piazza di San Marco, every 15 minutes (every 30 min after 10:00 pm).

Thank you! But: Do I understand you right that I have to take the bus to poggibonsi(I think there is a train, too) and abus to monteriggioni? I googled the line on google maps and it said that we have to walk 1.2 km from the bus stop to monteriggioni. Is that right? And where can I buy the tickets in advance?
Can anyone tell me how much a ticket for the bus for one week costs and if it is really valid for the whole area florence nd not just for the city?

Hi! there is a bit to walk otherwise look for a bus that goes to the Castle.
We are not informed about a card that covers all the area, maybe you can contact Florence turistic office and ask them for the best card to use.
