Cervinia: how to get there

Cervinia is situated in Trentino-South Tyrol region and is situated 120 km from Turin and 190 km from Milan.

  • Turin – Cervinia

1. The bus company SADEM offers connections between Turin and Cervinia ONLY on Sundays and on holidays from 01.01 to 25.04; from 01 Jul to 31 Aug; from 26 Dec to 31 Dec.  Ski and snowboard equipments (one equipment per person) go for free. The average journey time is 2 hours. Tickets can be bought in ticket sales points in Turin. You can check addresses on the timetable presented below.

2. Also the bus company SAVDA offers connections between Turin and Breuil-Cervinia. The average journey time is 2 hours. Stops in Turin are in: C.so Giulio Cesare; C.so Giulio Cesare (Porta Palazzo); Porta Susa Stazione F.S.; C.so Vittorio Emanuele II (bus station). Tickets can be bought online on the official website of SAVDA or in the authorised ticket sales points. Buses have connections both everyday and on certian days only. The bus company SAVDA offers connections between Milan and Cervinia by making a change in Chatillon bus station. In Milan buses stop in Lampugnano, that is situated near the same named metro station, the first line M1 (red line). Average journey time is 3 hours. It is necessary to book tickets in advance. It can be done online on the official website of SAVDA (you must print the ticket!) or buy them in ticket officies. One way tickets for adults cost around €. 18,40, for children till 12 years old –  €. 13,90. Whilst two way tickets for adults cost €. 36,80, for children till 12 years old – €. 27,80.

It is also possible to take a train, the closest train station is Châtillon/ Saint-Vincent. From there it is possible to take a bus that brings you to Cervinia.

Merano: how to get there

The bus company SASA connects Bolzano and Merano every day. The average journey time is one hour. In Merano buses stop at the station.

Buses Flixbus offers such connections every day. In Milan the bus stops at the bus station Lampugnano (that is close to the metro station Lampugnano M1). Bolzano: how to get there

Bolzano is situated in Trentino-South Tyrol region. The most convenient way to arrive to Bolzano by the pubblic transport is by train. Train station FS in Bolzano is situated in the center. What is more, there are several buses that connect Bolzano with other cities of Italy.

  •  Bolzano Dolomiti Airport– Bolzano

Buses SASA daily connect the city center with the airport with the lines 10A and 10B with the bus stop at the beginning of the access road to the airport (600 m). The line is called Ospedale – Stazione – Ospedale.

Livigno: how to get there

Livigno is situated in the Lombardi region and is well known as a ski resort.

Unfortunately, Livigno is rather difficult to reach, however it is certainly worth it. There is no direct connections between Milan and Livigno. At first, you should arrive to Tirano. In order to do that you need to take a train from the station Milano Centrale. Direct trains to Tirano leave every day, the average journey time is 2 hours. The journey is very beautiful, as the train passes Lake of Como.

Then, from Tirano you should take a bus to Livigno. Please note that it is necessary to change a bus in Bormio. During the winter period such bus connections are garanteed. It takes 2 hours to get from Tirano to Livigno. In Livigno a bus makes 4 stops: BIVIO TEOLA/ALEXANDER, (S.ROCCO), SCI FONDO, VIA LI PONT/S. MARIA.

There are two bus companies that connect Livigno with Linate airport, Malpensa airport and Bergamo Orio al Serio airport: Bormio Livigno Transfer e Livigno Express.

1. Bormio Livigno Transfer offers direct connections between all 3 Milan airports and so called Alta Valtellina (that include Livigno, Bormio, Valdidentro and Santa Caterina Valfurva). A Livigno  the bus stops near Centro Sci Fondo, the bus also stops in Bormio (Agenzia Terralta Viaggi), Valdidentro/Isolaccia (Piazza IV Novembre) and Santa Caterina Valfurva (Piazza Magliavaca).

During the winter period that is from 03/12/2016 to 25/04/2017, the bus leaves every day, whilst during the sumemr perido from 09/06/2016 to 18/09/2016 – only on Thursday and on Sunday. During the winter period the bus leaves only once a day from Sunday to Friday and twice on Saturday. Tickets can be bought online on the official website of Bormio Livigno Transfer. Bormio: how to get there

The autumn and winter seasons are upon us, so it’s time to think about doing something warm and active. One of the best places to do that is a charming town Bormio that is situated in the Lombardia region, not far from Milan. Bormio is well-know for its spa and wellness centers and skiing.

To get to Bormio from Milan you can first arrive to Tirano with the train. From the train station Milano Centrale to Bormia every day leave direct trains that connects two cities in 2 hours. From Tirano you can take a direct bus to Bormio. The bus company Perego offers direct conenctions between Tirano and Bormio. The average journey time is one hour.

Milan to Rome bus and train

To arrive to Milan from Rome and vice versa it is possible to use both a bus and a train.

  • Bus

1. Baltour, the bus company of Italy offers connections between Rome and Milan and vice versa every day. Buses run 6 times per day. Tickets can be bought online on the official website of Baltour or in the ticket offices of the company. Tickets cost from 15 EUR. Average journey time is 8 hours. There are both direct and indirect buses from Rome to Milan.

In Rome buses leave and arrive to Tiburtina, whilst in Milan – train station/metro station Rogoredo – LATO ANAS (Rogoredo is a metro station of the metro line M3) or to the bus station  LAMPUGNANO (Lampugnano is a metro station of the metro line M1).
