Flixbus is a young bus company established in 2013. At the begining it was a small German start-up, now it is an European leader in the bus transportation. In 2015 the company strated its international expansion by creating domestic lines in Italy, France, Austria and the Netherlands as well as international lines in Scandinavian countries, Spain, England and Central Europe. Buses MobilitàDiMarca offers direct connections between Treviso airport and Treviso. The average journey time is 10 minutes. Tickets cost around 1,30€. Tickets can be bought in different selling points (such as bars, newspaper kiosks) and in ticket offices of the company.
Treviso airport – Mestre train station and Venice, Piazzale Roma
The bus company ATVO (Azienda Trasporti Veneto Orientali) offers such connections every day. Buses of the line 351 connects Treviso airport with Venice in one hour. ATVO is the only bus company in Venice that can arrive directly on Piazzale Roma. Buses also stop in Mestre train station (ATVO train station) and in Mestre Corso del Popolo/Banca BNLATVO. Treviso airport – Mestre train station and Venice Tronchetto
Barzi Service connects Treviso Airport with Mestre and Venice Tronchetto in only 40 minutes via motorway. One way tickets cost 12 EUR, two way tickets – € 22,00, children under 10 don’t need to pay. Tickets can be bought at desks at the airport and in Treviso Province, directly on the bus, at car rental Elitte/Autonoleggi Elitte in Mestre (situated on viale della stazione) or at the ticket offices/uffici Marco Polo, Tronchetto. Padova is situated in Veneto. Padova is well known for its Prato della Valle, la Basilica di Sant’Antonio, University of Padova, that is one of the oldest universities in the world and many other things. Padova is well connected with Venice airports, Venice city center and other Italian cities, so it is not difficult to reach it.
Venice Airport Marco Polo di Tessera – Padova
Venice Airport Marco Polo is situated rather close to Padova. Line FSBusitalia operated by Busitalia Veneto offers connections between Venice Airport and Padova. A bus also stops in Venice (P.le Roma). The bus terminal in Padova is situated near the train station. Average journey time is one hour. One way tickets cost 2,40 €, if you buy tickets on the bus, they will cost more.
Line FSBusitalia operated by Busitalia Veneto offers connections between Treviso Airport and Padova every day. At the airport the bus leaves from Noalese street, that is situated on the right from the Airport exit, whilst in Padova the bus terminal is situated near the train station. Average journey time is 1 hour. One way tickets cost 2,40 €. Tickets can be bought in the ticket offices in Treviso Airport at the arrival zone or on the bus (with some extra charges).
2. Line 53E di ACTV connects Vencie with Padova every day. Average journey time is one hour. In Padova the bus terminal is situated near the train station, whilst in Venice in Piazzale Roma, bus lane B6. Ferrara is situated in the Emilia-Romagna region. Ferrara is well connected by buses and trains. It is situated 45 km from Bologna and 110 km from Venice. Airports that are close to Ferrara are: Bologna airport and Venice Marco Polo airport.
Bologna airport – Ferrara
There are two options to get to Ferrara from Bologna.
1. To take direct buses Bus&Fly. Buses Bus & Fly connects Bologna airport with Ferrara in one hour. Buses run 8 times per day, making 3 bus stops in Ferrara: at the shopping center, train station and in viale Cavour (city center). One way ticket costs 15 EUR. Tickets can be bought on the bus.

Venice airport Marco Polo – Ferrara

Then you should take a train to get to Ferrara (around 60 minutes)
Bologna – Ferrara
TPER (Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna) offers connections between Bologna and Ferrara. Line 356 connects two cities. Tickets can be bought on the bus (with extra charges) or in the tickets selling points. In Ferrara the bus terminal is in Corso Isonzo, whilsts in Bologna at the Piazza XX Settembre, 6.
Flixbus offers daily connections between Vencie and Ferrara. Tickets cost from 5 EUR, full price -19 EUR. In Venice the bus terminal is in Venice Mestre train station, viale stazione 16. In Ferrara – at the square near the train station. The bus also stops in Padova (parking Piazzale Boschetti).
From Ferrara a bus leaves at 07.55 and arrives to Venice Mestre Station at 10.00. At the same time a bus leaves from Venice Mestre Station at 20.35 and arrives in Ferrara at 22.40.*

Train station in Ferrara is situated 20 minutes from the city center so it can be reached on foot or by bus. Parma is situated on the north of Italy in the region of Emilia-Romagna. So it is easy to reach it from Bologna, Milan, Venice and Turin.
